After breakfast your driver will take you on a scenic tour on your way to the Honduran border, en route you will make a stop at “El Relleno” in Izabal, this is one of the longest bridges in the country of Guatemala, here you will enjoy lunch and stretch your legs for a while, after lunch you will head on over to the Honduran border, and from there the town of Copan Ruinas is just a short 12 km. away. You will enjoy the rest of the day on your own to enjoy the sights and sounds of this quiet little village, there are many activities to enjoy while at Copan, many fine restaurants and souvenir shops as well as the local artisans market. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the commodities of Copan's finest hotels. On day 2 after your breakfast your guide will pick you up at your hotel for a tour of this magnificent ancient city, you will learn about the exploits of Copan 's most prolific builder Waxaklajuun Ubaah K'awiil, Copan's 13 th ruler.
